Thomas Crossroads Elementary ‘Rises Up’ for Falcons Students, staff and faculty at Thomas Crossroads Elementary School have spent the week getting ready for the Atlanta Falcons’ appearance in Sunday’s Super Bowl. On Thursday, the school celebrated “Rise Up” Day, when students dressed in red and black to show their support. East Coweta High School senior Emma Helfers was named Coweta County’s STAR student Friday. Helfers chose AP biology teacher Chris Sewell as her STAR teacher.
